This is a Google Search Box which can search the web for keywords typed in it. It can also show option to search your website. You can also choose to keep SAFE SEARCH on for all search results displayed. Google also provides search result page customized to theme of a website or contents. This is applicable to both the look and appearance of Google search results on website and the context of the results. It depends on the webmaster whether he wants to implement this or not.
One option that you cannot have with this Search Box is Google Advance Search option which is otherwise available on Google Search homepage. Some visitors may have some unique search requirements which are solved by Google Advanced Search Option, which is available on main page of Google Search. You should not use another Search box provided by any other Search Engine on your web site.
